Couple

Geneva Switzerland

We are looking for an excellent domestic couple for a live-in position starting Sept. 1st. The family of 6 (children 11.8, 9 and 5 year old twins) has 3 homes Geneva Switzerland, Megeve France, and Tel aviv Israel.  Your home base will be Geneva and you will be traveling to Megeve on some weekends during the winter months.  You will not need to travel to Tel aviv.
 
-Duties: (Her) Cooking 2 meals a day based on healthy nutrition.
Must be an excellent cook, highly recommended, and very experienced.
Food must be well presented. we appreciate high level of cooking.
- ironing
- Cleaning the kitchen, dinning room and family room daily. Kitchen must be kept clean. 
- Helping the other personal as needed.
- Travelling with us on the weekends whenever needed (during the ski season- every weekend)
 
Duties  (Male)
- cleaning a house of approx. 600 sqm. 7 bedrooms & 6 bathrooms
Home needs to be kept clean and tidy.
- Must wash the ground floor daily, dust and vacuum very day
- wash the cars, the garage, and the service areas
- driving when needed (more often while both parents are away)
- Cleaning exterior paths and garden furniture
- once a week cleaning our chalet in the ski resort.(45min drive from Geneva)
- preparing the chalet prior to our arrival 

5 to 5 1/2 working days with time off during the week (flexible).  9 hour work days and no smoking

You will be furnished with a vehicle  and accommodations on the property. Must have passport (etc.)  An EU passport would be easier in obtaining a work permit.

Chef

Chicago, IL

Looking for a private chef for a couple in Hinsdale, IL (Suburb of Chicago).  Chef needs to be European trained or trained in the United States.  Must have experience working for a private household.   This is a Monday through Friday position.  Most of the time you will be preparing the dinners and putting them in the refrigerator.   There will be some entertaining up to 8 people.

Duties: Grocery shopping, keep the kitchen very clean, serving, setting the table, etc. 

There is a House Manager and a housekeeper already working at the residence.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

 This job requires the candidate to be 100% “hand on”. (to be on the top of his/her team and operation), and to be involved in all details related to the nature of the Job.

Operational

§         Oversee and follow up on all operation related issues in all locations.

§         Manage the Households operations and services to ensure high standards are met.

§         Conduct regular audit, evaluation, amendment and implementation to all current Procedures.(In/Out side the premises)

§         Provide writing of operation systems manual.

§         Responsible for keeping the household inventory supplies on regular basis, and issue related reports.

§         Responsible for maintaining the safety of all Households assets and private belongings.

§         Maintain Budget control and monitoring of costs through applying cost reduction methods.

§         Plan and implement Staff mobilization procedures to all locations and during the occupancy of more than one location.

§         Provide breakage reports of damaged goods or furniture.

§         Provide reports of Goods transfer from/to different locations, with daily follow up and reports.

§         Implement the Receiving of gifts procedure.

§         Oversees all maintenance projects to ensure that the Households is protected and maintained to a high level of repair.

§         Solve emergency maintenance issues which may arise

§         Responsible for organizing parties and events.

§         Conduct spontaneous checks on staff and operation (continuous follow up is a must).

§         Oversee and participates in proper table settings and entertainment preparations.

§         will be responsible for direct supervision and follow up over the duties operation

§         Perform any other assigned duties

Administration

§         Implement all automated procedures related to the operations (purchasing, inventories)

§         Responsible for submitting reports and documents (weekly, quarterly, annually ) to the Director on all households related issues (staff, inventory, budgeting,...etc)

 Will be involved in the following in coordination with the HR Department within the Directorate:

1.      Perform regular assessment of staff which to plan staff development, changing of place of work to ensure the best utilization of the staffs skills.

2.      Provide the HR Dept. with employee’s weekly staff report and weekly attendance report for all households’ staff.

3.      Identify training needs, and develop, implement training programs.

4.      Establish and maintain healthy environment and effective employees relations and through creating motivation methods to retain good employees and be able to attract professional candidates

5.      Solve problems associated with supervising employees through approved policies and procedures.

6.      Performs personnel related functions, such as recommendations for hiring, suspending, and terminating employees.

7.      Provide regular manpower planning for all staff within the households.

8.      Supervise the conducting of staffs performance evaluation (quarterly and annually)

9.      Consults with the Human Resources Department on all staff related matters.

10.  Perform any other assigned duties

Very nice salary (depending on experience), a vehicle, insurance, accommodations on the property, all utilities paid.

You will be working a 6 day work week.  You will also work 11 months and have the 12th month off.

Penn Valley, PA

 
We are looking for a domestic coupe for a 16,000 foot home in Penn Valley, PA.  This couple needs to be a hands-on Management team.  You will be hiring other housekeeping, etc. staff.  He: strong maintenance background She: housekeeping and organization.  This is a brand new  home where the family will be moving in next June.  They would like to have someone  start soon to get to know the home and systems. 

There is brand new (very nice) housing on the property, health benefits and a nice salary (up to $110,000).
